Infame is a journey through the worlds’ palates without abandoning its local roots.
A menu was created in which Portuguese flavors are complemented with flavors from around the world.
The neighborhood’s multiculturalism is carried into the restaurant, where Chef André Rebelo presents an original concept. Local and fresh products give rise to unique recipes, with unexpected flavor combinations that promise to stay in memory.
Among the specialties are tuna woodpecker, duck croquettes, octopus with mashed stew and beans and crab and shrimp rice. All prepared with seasonal ingredients to ensure the best quality.
In addition to the a la carte menu, there are special dishes for the executive lunch, always based on fresh and seasonal ingredients. If you are looking for a lighter, quicker meal or after hours there are also snacks available throughout the day.

In the same way that artists interpreted Adães Bermudes’ design in light of the building’s recent past, the concept of the restaurant Infame also mirrors the alternative and diverse nature the Intendente neighbourhood is known for, a theme captured by the restaurant’s name.
With a capacity for 80 seats inside and 70 on the terrace – which also serves as an extension of Bar 1908 Lisboa – in the heart of Largo do Intendente, the Infame menu takes us on a journey through Portuguese flavors, with a cosmopolitan and contemporary approach. Chef André Rebelo brings some national references to Infame without ever closing borders.
From duck croquettes to tuna woodpecker, from octopus with mussel stew puree and feijoca to cod pilpil and fried sweet potato, the Infame’s journey always departs from the Intendente to the world.
With an obvious connection to many producers and traders in the neighborhood that hosts it, Infame is still supplied with vegetables by the vegetable garden that the chef and the team developed in Ericeira (in the house of the “younger brother”, You and The Sea hotel) during the first confinement, and which has been fertile ground of varied harvest and pulsating creativity.
In addition to the a la carte menu, the Chef, together with his team, defines daily dishes for the executive lunch, inspired by fresh and seasonal ingredients. On Sundays, the brunch from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm is one of the busiest in the city.
Bar 1908 Lisboa, whose space is marked by Bordalo II’s installation, has a selection of cocktails created by its resident barmen, also available in Infame, in addition to a very varied drinks menu. Both the restaurant and bar have an industrial atmosphere – due to the visible steel structure – that contrasts with the hydraulic floor tiles and the naturalist details.
The interior decoration was the work of the proprietary company – Villa de Santa Ana – with the help of Sizz Design. The building remains an architectural landmark in the city and is now a place for meeting and socialising par excellence in Lisbon.
