Quintinha da Cachadinha arose from a family dream that began to become reality in 2017 and, for 5 years, it grew into what is now a small farm surrounded by green nature and wonderful landscapes, which give us peace of mind.
Maria e Valentim“Quintinha da Cachadinha has more than 2,600 m2 of green area, with a privileged view and many sounds of nature. “
Maria and Valentim started by building what is the mother house, the house in which they live. Later the opportunity arose to rebuild the remaining space and from there the great adventure began.
Little by little, 3 small houses were rebuilt: Casa da Paz, Casa do Sol and Casa da Lua.
Casa da Paz
Casa da Paz was the first house to be rebuilt, in 2018.
It consists of two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a double bed and a single bed. It has a bathroom, kitchen, living room and a small garden. Its name comes from the Peace you feel whenever you sit on the sofa at the end of the day and enjoy the surrounding nature along with the sound of birds throughout the day.
Casa do Sol
Casa do Sol has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. One of the bedrooms is a suite, with a double bed, a small sofa and a bathtub near a window, in which you can relax. The other bedroom also has a double bed. Its name derives from the terrace it has. You can observe what we can call a “picture” of nature – you see the sun throughout the day and have the best view of Quintinha.
Casa da Lua
Casa da Lua has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. One of the bedrooms is a suite (it has a bathtub, where you can relax). All rooms have a double bed. Its name derives from the beautiful moonlight that you can enjoy from the kitchen. This kitchen has glass doors, and in which you can have family meals while enjoying the end of the night.
The attention to every detail, both inside the houses and in the outdoor spaces, makes this Farm a second home for guests.
“You can take advantage of all the outdoor spaces – take a dip in the swimming pool (salt water and heated for use on colder days), or simply breathe in the fresh air of Quintinha, lulled by the sounds of nature. “
With all the houses ready, they invested in the exterior decoration and all the spaces that today provide memories for guests.
The details of the lights around the houses, the existing swings, tables, benches, pool, and even a landing that has a birdhouse with a bench next to it so you can read a book or simply enjoy the day.
Finally, a barbecue so that guests can have family meals, and even a small garden where you can harvest vegetables and fruits for your meals if you need.
Simplicity in each place in union with the surrounding nature is what Quintinha da Cachadinha wants to offer to those who visit it.
