Living abroad with my family meant constantly adapting to new cultures, communities, and houses.

Each move brought both excitement and challenge: transforming an unfamiliar place into a home that reflected who we were.

Over time, I realized these experiences were shaping my design philosophy: design is not only about aesthetics, but also about comfort, identity, adaptability, and belonging. That philosophy became the foundation of Studio Serrano.

Studio Serrano is not a conventional interior design studio. It was born from a very personal journey and is dedicated to helping others create elegant, functional, and soulful homes, entirely online, offering both comfort and complete privacy.

With professional training and a deep knowledge of local markets, I curate sophisticated interiors harmoniously blending artisan and contemporary pieces into timeless, authentic, and refined spaces that honor the stories of those who live in them.

Home is not only about aesthetics. It is the quiet reassurance of belonging, the atmosphere of comfort, the reflection of identity, and a safe harbour where we can truly unwind. I discovered this through living as an expat, moving with my family across different countries and cultures.

Each destination brought the challenge of turning a temporary house into a home, while navigating unfamiliar markets, new traditions, and the limits of climate and architecture.

What began as necessity soon became a passion and eventually the foundation of Studio Serrano. Studio Serrano is a 100 percent online interior design studio, created to make professional and high-quality design accessible anywhere in the world.

Free from the logistics of in-person visits, clients follow a structured yet personal process that includes a questionnaire, an online consultation, mood boards, 2D and 3D renderings, a curated shopping list, and detailed assembly instructions. The experience is efficient, inspiring, and deeply tailored to each client.

What makes Studio Serrano distinctive is not only the process but also the philosophy and the privacy it offers. For me, design is about listening to stories, understanding lifestyles, and translating them into spaces with soul. Many of my clients are newcomers or expats who feel unsure of local markets.

I guide them toward refined interiors by blending international influences with local craftsmanship and curating details that feel intentional and lasting.

I love creating harmony through contrast, whether it is a contemporary sofa paired with an artisan-crafted table or a piece of traditional Mexican Talavera reimagined in soft tones within an elegant neutral palette. These thoughtful combinations enrich a space while telling the story of the people who live there.

Sustainability and authenticity guide every project. Inspired by Mediterranean elegance, I prioritize natural materials, handcrafted elements, and designs that are versatile and timeless. Every choice balances function with beauty, creating homes that are both practical and sophisticated.

Beyond design, I dedicate part of my time to supporting local charities in Mexico City that empower vulnerable girls through education.

This balance between design and community reminds me that time is one of the greatest gifts we can share, and that giving enriches life in return.
